Our story
A shop you can hand your engine to
Champion Automotive Machine Shop opened on January 1, 2016 in Enterprise, Alabama. Owner-operator John Potts built the shop around one idea: do careful, measured engine machine work and stand behind it. We serve drivers, farmers, fleets, and repair shops across the Wiregrass — restoring performance and reliability one block at a time.
Most people who call us have been burned before, or simply don't know who to trust with an expensive block. We keep it simple: honest assessments, real communication, and machine work guaranteed to your satisfaction.

What we do — and don't
Dedicated machine shop
We are an automotive machine shop. Everything we do is engine machine work: cylinder boring, sleeving, line boring, honing, block and head surfacing, and stroker clearancing for auto, truck, diesel, industrial, farm tractor, and motorcycle engines.
We do not offer oil changes, tires, or general automotive repair. If your job is machine work, you're in the right place — call and tell us what you have.
